The design for this power up is very thought out and it’s really interesting to see the reasoning and research that went behind for all the concepts. You manage to explain the game your group chose in a very short but effective way, making it easier for the reader to understand what concept you’re working on. It’s clearly shown in the text that you’ve done your ”homework”, instead of just making a couple of power-ups that you thought would be cool, you took the time to research legitimate ways fishermen used back during those times, so it would really fit the aesthetic. The same way you explained the game concept, short and effective, you did on the different power-up concepts giving the reader a simpler time going through your work. You also show the reasoning why your group is doing the Cormorant fishing power-up, that you made the team vote between the four concepts and then you show your personal reasoning why you thought that that power-up was the best. Overall, I’d say you made it clear that you’ve done your reasearch and you’ve explained the reasoning behind your choices. Something to think about till next time is maybe sharing some of the sources you used when designing the power-ups and/or maybe put in a picture/artwork showcasing that this was a real way of catching fish.
